THE TRIP TO WIERNSHEIM
From 01 till 05 September this year the Orchestra Archetti had honour to host in Wiernsheim, little (with about 6 thousand habitants) municipality in South Germany.
Lucky chance, destiny and maybe it just should happened?
When on 11-th of June Archetti played successsively, second concert in Chelm Slaski and huge appaluse didn't come
to an end.
Then Mr Karlheinz Oehler – Mayor of Wiernsheim came up
to me. Congratulated the beautiful concert and invited Archetti
to His town.
We accepted this invitation with great pleasure and at the beginning of September Archetti set out in its first foreign tournée.
As early as the first day, when we reached Wiernsheim,
we knew realised it will be a great time for us.
2-nd September
In the morning, after the breakfast we went to the biggest Zoo named after Wilhelm in Stuttgart.
Evening concert in Waldenser Hall in Pinache attracted a lot of listeners. Orchestra achieved a great succes in that performace. Archetti plays twice encore and got standing ovation.
After the successful concert we were invited to the Kelter Restaurant for a dinner party.
3-rd September
Excursion to Maulbronn and tour around the monastery.
In the evening the Orchestra gave a concert in Friolzheim
4-th September
Trip to Schwarzwald. The dam in Schwarzwald pass, Mummelsee, Lothar-Pfad.
The next point of this very attractive day was presentation showing how to prepar cherry schwarzwald cake.
After the professional presentation took place the consumption and all people appreciated fabulous taste of the great work
of culinary art.
In the evening Archetti gave a closed-door concert dedicated
to Mayor of Wiertnsheim and families which hosted us.
5-th Spetember
„The beautiful moments are passing by too fast...” The sentence seems to fully reflect our feelings that day.
It's time to say goodbye. I must admit it was really wonderful time for Archetti. Every host family including Karlheinz Oehler, the Mayor of Wiernsheim took care of us in a very thoughtful way.
During the time we spend there we were constantly feeling
the kidness and homely atmosphere.
We made many friendships there. We are very grateful for that.
p.s. I would like to thank Mr Piotr Dziobek for being a translator and to my husband Piotr, who accompaning the Orchestra „caught the unforgettaable moments” by his camere.
